Umur Arıner, who is the first boutique wine producer in Turkey, was born in Tekirdag, which is one of the most important vineyard regions in the country. He graduated as a mechanical engineer from Yildiz Technical University, and he worked in the construction equipment industry. After staying for a period of 7 years in the USA, where he went to do his master's degree, he returned to his homeland upon the call of his father, and he started farming. After growing sunflowers and wheat on the family lands between 1987-1993, he decided to make vineyards in the appropriate parts of the land 1993, and he planted grape types of French origin for 140 decades. Since 1997, he has been producing white, rosé, and red wines by using only the grapes of his own vineyards.
