The Barut Family started to serve Turkish tourism in 1971 with the 36-room Cennet Hotel in Manavgat Side.

It was opened in 1987 in Side.
It was merged with Cennet and Acanthus in 2006.
It was completely demolished on November 1, 2015, and re-built from scratch.
It was put into service again on May 17, 2016 under the name Barut Acanthus Cennet.
On April 1, 2019, it was upgraded to Acanthus Cennet Barut Collection.
In 1990, Barut Hemera opened.
In 1996, Barut Arum opened.
On April 1, 2019, it upgraded its segment and became Arum Barut Collection.
In 2005, Barut Lara was opened.
On April 1, 2019, it upgraded its segment and became Lara Barut Collection.
October 1, 2022 Bayou Villas Lara opened on an area of 25.000 m2 within Lara Barut Collection.
Sunwing Side Beach was opened in 2007.
It was renamed into Barut B Suites in 2017.
Barut Hotels celebrated its 40th anniversary at Lara Barut. Many guests, especially Mrs. Gürdal Akşit, one of the former Ministers of Tourism, attended the night when new investments were announced.
Barut Sunwing Side Beach was opened.
In 2024, it was renamed as Barut GOIA.
2013 TUI SENSIMAR BARUT ANDIZ opened. 2020 TUI BLUE BARUT ANDIZ took its name.
3 hotels of the Group announced a Collection segment to offer luxury services.
3 hotels switched to the Collection segment on April 1, 2019.
Barut Acanthus - became Acanthus Cennet Barut Collection.
Barut Arum - became the Arum Barut Collection.
Barut Lara - became Lara Barut Collection.
BAYOU Villas opened at Lara Barut Collection on 1 October 2022.
Renovated with a huge investment, the hotel reopened its doors on April 1, 2024, and was renamed Barut Sunwing Side Beach, Barut GOIA.
On May 6, 2024, Anda Barut Collection & BAYOU Villas Didim opened.
